Pakistan administers its 10 millionth Covid vaccine dose

What happened : A ceremony was held on Wednesday to mark the deliverance of the 10 millionth dose of the covid vaccine in Pakistan. The federal planning minister Asad Umar announced that authorities have aimed to vaccinate 70 million people across the country by the end of this year. More on the administration of the vaccine: Asad Umar said that seven million people had received vaccine doses in the country. Moreover, on average 3000,000 people have been registering for the covid-19 vaccine on a daily, Umar appealed to the people encouraging them to participate in the vaccination campaign as it has initiated a visible reduction in the positivity rate. He also announced that a call center was being established to convince people to return and complete their vaccination, as 300,000 recipients failed to reappear for their second dose.
