The founder, Adila began painting as a hobby but soon transformed it into a business as more and more people wanted to get their hands on her pieces. Shahkaar by Adila works mostly on organza, chiffon, lawn and tissue. Their most admired piece is the ‘Organza Hibiscus Sari’ which is priced at Rs. 16,200. @aaish.studio was gifted to Ayesha by her children on Mother’s Day in 2020. Ayesha has been painting on clothes since the early 2000s. This consistent practise has only improved her skill to the point of perfection. Aaish Studio creates a range of clothing. They are particularly admired for their hand painted pocket squares, as they were the first ones to introduce them in Pakistan. They are well-known amongst hand painting lovers. To order from them, you have to book a slot. It takes about a week for them to get your clothes ready.
