Only individuals with designated visas would be allowed to perform Hajj 

What happened: The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in a statement from Riyadh, clarified that Hajj could be performed by those who have a designated visa for Hajj. Saudi Gazette quoted,  “Hajj rites for this year can only be performed by those who hold a visa that is designated for Hajj, or by those who already reside with legal residence inside the Kingdom.”  Details: At the same time, the Saudi Hajj ministry announced that the procedures for applying for the 2022 Hajj season would be announced through the ministry’s official website. Subsequently, the ministry has also announced to raise the number of pilgrims from inside the Kingdom to one million, though a fixed quota allocated to other countries.
