Number of donkeys increased by 100,000 in Pakistan 

What happened:  In a unique survey, The Pakistan Economic Survey 2020-2021, Pakistan has reported an increase in donkeys by 100,000 totaling 5.6 million. Economic Survey highlighted an increase in the number of livestock in the country.  Details:  ARY News quotes the survey as,  “the number of goats has increased by 2.1 million, from 78.2 million to 83 million, while the number of horses remained at 400,000, mules at 200,000 and camels at 1.1 million in Pakistan.”  It is pertinent to mention that the number of donkeys in Pakistan has been on a rise in the country since 1997.
