Now the Taliban government has stopped issuing driving licenses to women in Afghanistan 

What happened: Recent reports from international publications claimed that the Taliban-led Afghan government had barred women from driving licenses. As The Independent UK quotes,  “The Taliban in Afghanistan has reportedly stopped issuing driving licenses to women in capital Kabul and other provinces.”  Details:   However, the Taliban authorities have yet to comment on the matter, but local Afghan media reports suggested that a verbal order was issued to the concerned authorities. The head of Herat’s Traffic Management is quoted as,  “We have been verbally instructed to stop issuing licences to women drivers.. but not directed to stop women from driving in the city.”  More:   Previously, the Taliban had also told the airline authorities that women could not board domestic or internal flights without a male chaperone.
