The actress posted the song on Monday, defending her role in the song and calling it a one-time thing The dance track for the upcoming movie, Kaaf Kangana, came out over the weekend after the release of its trailer. The track is called ‘Khabon Mein’, and is composed by Sahir Ali Bagga and Aima Baig.

Critics have called the song ridiculous for its ‘creepy’ lyrics, however that’s not what Neelam felt needed to be clarified on social media. Instead, she announced that she had only done the movie as it was an ISPR project, and would likely be the first and last time she’d do an item song, saying “ Pakistan k liye meri jaan hamesha hazir hai “. Many are wondering why ISPR would sponsor a movie featuring an item song, and therefore doubting the credibility of Neelam’s claims.
