NCOC is expected to gradually normalise inbound flights from July 1

What happened: National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has released a document stating that from July 1 inbound flights from United Kingdom (UK), Europe, Canada, China and Malaysia will be increased from 20pc to 40pc. Details: COVID-19 situation in most of the world seems to be improving, and as masses continue to get vaccinated air travel is expected to resume some normalcy. Pre-boarding and on arrival testing protocols for all categories of the countries will not change. Home quarantine for negative Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) cases will no longer be required but those that test positive will have to follow quarantine as per existing procedure.
