Nawaz Sharif’s medical report states that he is facing “broken heart syndrome” claims PTI’s minister

What happened: The Special Assistant ot Prime Minister on Political Communication Shahbaz Gill, in his tweet, stated that the former premier is facing “takotsubo syndrome,” which is commonly known as broken heart syndrome. Imran Khan’s spokesperson also shared the screenshot of Nawaz Sharif’s medical reports and claimed that his doctors suggested that he get married.

Details: Further commenting on the medical report of Nawaz Sharif that was presented in the Lahore High Court, the SAPM wrote, “It is now known that all the heart doctors in the UK have also died and that is why Nawaz called a Pakistani-American doctor to London.” At the same time, Shahbaz Gill stated, “If Nawaz Sharif returns to solitary confinement in Pakistan, he may develop what we call the takotsubo syndrome due to stressful environment.”

More: It is pertinent to mention that Nawaz Sharif’s new medical report was presented in the Lahore High Court on February 1. The report was authored by Dr Fayaz Shawl, an American cardiologist who had recommended the former PM to stay in the UK for his treatment. Nawaz Sharif’s medical report had caused a stir among the political commentators and the government had claimed that this is another of Sharif’s bids to run away from imprisonment.
