What happened: On February 7, a viral video on social media showed a woman who donated her liver to save her husband’s life said, “He’s my jigar that’s why I gave part of my liver to save his life.” In a bid to save the husband’s life, the Nawabshah woman donated her liver at Gambat Institute of Liver.
Details: In the viral video, she said, “Wouh mera jigar hai and bachay nahi hain meray.” The woman answered another question, “10 saal hougaye hain shaadi kou and mera sirf wouhi jigr hai.” At the same time, the doctors stated that both husband and wife are in healthy condition after the transplant.
Reaction: Syed Raza Shah tweeted, “Government of Sindh is doing a great job in providing life-saving healthcare to the general population. Love it!” While, another Twitter user wrote, “This is so heart touching. MASHALLAh.”
