My own party conspired against me in the 2018 elections

What happened:  In a viral video, the PPP turned PTI politician and former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has made remarks that have irked controversy. In the viral video snippet, Khan’s close aide, Qureshi said,  “If I had won the 2018 elections, then the situation in Punjab would not be the same as it is today.”  Qureshi further noted,  “I had even told Khan that the reason behind his defeat in the 2018 elections was his party.”  Former foreign minister’s son:  However, later, Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s son is quoted by Pakistan Daily as,  “Zain Qureshi son of Shah Mehmood Qureshi clarified that his father said this in the context of Jahangir Khan Tareen and Aleem Khan.”
