More than 900 children under the age of 10 have tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Pakistan’s southern Sindh province. Most of them are from poor families where social distancing is impossible at home, reports Al Jazeera.
Despite schools closing since 26th of September, almost 930 children have tested positive for COVID-19 in Sindh till now. The reason behind this large a number is clear. Social distancing is not being practised in Pakistan. These children most likely got infected from an elder who frequently goes out.
Most of the children who have tested positive are from poor communities. They live in harsh conditions with big families in small conditions. Practising social distancing in such circumstances is hard, even impossible.
I very like this blog. Everything is cleared.
