More than 4 million people still unemployed in Pakistan

What happened:  As the population in Pakistan is at an uncontrollable rate, the unemployment rate has also been on the rise. However, during the previous fiscal year, unemployment reduced by 0.3% in Pakistan, which remains at 6.3%. Samaa quotes,  “The country continues to struggle with unemployment which clocked in at 6.3% for the fiscal year 2021-222.”  Details:  The Economic Survey revealed by Miftah Ismail noted that Pakistan is among the world’s top ten largest labour forces. The employment to population ratio of 42.1% and this ratio is higher among men with 64% as compared to the wone, which is only 19.4%. However, as the comparison showed that in 2018-19 the country had 61.71 million employed in Pakistan, while 67.2 later. At the same time, the construction sector remained among the top employer and textile as an employer decreased.
