What happened:
3, 113 cases of the novel coronavirus have been reported in the last 24 hours. This is the third day in a row that Pakistan has recorded more than 3, 000 infections, according to data from the government’s Covid-19 portal. The highest number of cases were reported by Sindh. And, the second highest number of cases was reported by Punjab.
The Background:
The National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) data shows that as of 8:00am on November 27, the number of critical patients stands at 2,112. The number of cases reported in each region in the past 24 hours:
- Sindh: 1,402
- Punjab: 654
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 453
- Balochistan: 66
- Islamabad: 425
- Gilgit-Baltistan: 15
- Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 98
