What Happened: A total of 22,000 children were reportedly received at the Childlife Foundation’s emergency facilities from Orangi Town, Nazimabad, Korangi, Lyari, and Liaquatabad in Sindh and Balochistan from May 10-18. Most of these children were diagnosed with diarrhea (gastroenteritis), viral fever, upper respiratory tract infections, and fever with fits,  The News  reported. The heatwave in Sindh has been the cause of much anguish in Sindh.
