Amid scorching heat and Cyclone Tauktae, the number of pediatric emergencies in Sinch skyrocketed.
What Happened: A total of 22,000 children were reportedly received at the Childlife Foundation’s emergency facilities from Orangi Town, Nazimabad, Korangi, Lyari, and Liaquatabad in Sindh and Balochistan from May 10-18. Most of these children were diagnosed with diarrhea (gastroenteritis), viral fever, upper respiratory tract infections, and fever with fits, The News reported.
