Background: News sources have revealed that the four-year-old girl was kidnapped four days before her assault from Azizabad, a village of Khanewal. The police stated that the girl was playing with other children when the perpetrators kidnapped her and raped her. The perpetrators later threw her body near the fields. It has also been reported that the victim’s family held a protest against the crime and blocked Jahanian road. They also accused the police of practicing negligence against the complaint of the child’s disappearance.
