University of Health Sciences (UHS) has developed a notorious reputation for cancelling and rescheduling exams in its 17 years of existence.
Most recently, UHS announced that it is cancelling the ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) of 4th year medical students. The exam was conducted on the 15th of November with the result due in December.
However, a week after the exam took place, UHS announced its decision to cancel the exam and reschedule it for the 27th of November.
The news comes after UHS confirmed 17 out of 21 questions were those taken from a private varsity’s test paper. It is worth noting that exam papers are pre-approved by the UHS administration well in advance of the exam date. The VC of UHS has launched a high-level inquiry to identify those responsible.
Students have gathered outside UHS to protest the decision. Students have also lashed out at the UHS for putting them through the ordeal considering the amount of effort that goes into the prep of the end of year Professional exams.
