The criminal was first arrested after an FIR was lodged on the complaint of the young boy’s mother at Rawat police station. In her report, she suspected that the man had forcefully taken her son to a house in Bahria Town, Rawalpindi where he proceeded to rape and film the ordeal for four days.
The video was used to blackmail the boy into staying quiet about the rape, as the suspect threatened to release it if he spoke up, said the FIR.
Capital City Police Officer Faisal Rana said that the man also confessed to have raped 30 children in Pakistan and is also presumed to have uploaded videos of minors on the ‘dark web’.
The suspect had previously been convicted for assaulting in minors in Britain and was deported after serving his prison sentence, after which he made his way to Italy but was deported from there as well for the same reasons.
