Man arrested for abusing and assaulting a Muslim prayer leader in New Jersey

What happened: A New Jersey man was arrested and charged with intimidation and assault as he was accused of assaulting a prayer leader at a local mosque. The man identified as Edward Wright was arrested on February 22, as the CCTV footage from the Islamic Congregation of New Jersey showed him assaulting and hurling abuses at the prayer leader(Muezzin). Details: The CCTV footage shows the 57 year old saying,  “Not everybody here is Muslim and I do not want to hear that (Azaan) repeatedly.”  According to a publication, Edward can also be heard saying,  “Go somewhere else.”  On the other hand, it is pertinent to mention that the City Council has allowed the use of loudspeakers/microphones for religious gatherings.
