‘Love beyond borders’ American doctor travels to Pakistan to marry Gujranwala-based tailor

What happened: As it has been said that love has no boundaries, and nothing can keep two lovers apart. This story has proven the quotation as an American gynaecologist travelled all the way from America to meet her social media friend in Pakistan’s city of wrestlers, Gujranwala. The doctor was identified as Dr Med, who worked at a state-run medical facility in Chicago, and converted to Islam after being inspired by the teachings of her  “Pakistani lover.”  Details: Dr Meg was reportedly converted to Islam by Hafiz Muhammad Ashraf Raza Qadri as she reached Gujranwala and was given the Islamic name of Haniya. Whereas, Dr Meg, now known as Haniya, was also in awe of the Pakistani culture and, after meeting her in-laws, said,  “They are all very lovely people.”
