What happened: Kim Jong Un, the supreme leader of North Korea, in a broadcast at an auditorium gave some commands to the hundreds of North Korean women seated there. With little choice in a totalitarian state, the women have to obey these commands. The commands were made in fear of “foreign influence” in North Korea. Details: He commanded women to wear traditional clothing as that would bring “flavour, taste, and national emotions” to everybody’s life in North Korea. The women were also asked to sing patriotic songs at construction sites and write letters to male soldiers to boost their morale and spirit. Kim Jong Un also warned the women to make sure their children were not influenced by “alien ideology, culture, and lifestyle”. Click here to see more from Propergaanda.
