What happened: Mashal Aamir won the Diana Award on 28th June for her services to humanity and welfare marking a great honour for Pakistan and for KPK. She has participated in Welfare activities throughout Pakistan, Korea, and the USA. Her work focuses on racial and socioeconomic barriers and she has taken up many roles to help eradicate these barriers. She is also now a legal assistant in the Supreme Court of Pakistan to the former Advocate General of Peshawar. Details: She worked with the children of APS after the horrific attack on the school in 2014. Mashal has also worked with women at the Pakistan-Afghan border to give them economic skills.
