‘#JusticeForQasim’ LUMS Alumni shot dead in Islamabad’s F/9 park

What happened:   In what the mainstream media outlets are yet to report, a heart-wrenching incident occurred in the capital’s prime park, F-9, where a young 2014 LUMS graduate was shot dead at the prime location of F-9 park, and it is still not clear whether it was a robbery attempt or a pre-planned murder. It was brought to our attention that Qasim was shot late on Sunday night; however, he was shifted to PIMS, where he was pronounced dead on June 7, due to severe blood loss. Qasim was a Business Development Manager at Foodpanda, and before that was a management consultant at Santex. Details:   It is to be noted that Qasim Awan was not only a LUMS graduate but preferred staying in Pakistan and earning here while  “his batchmates left the country for better employment.”  This incident has now raised questions such as,  “What kind of new mafia carrying weapons and shooting people of their own will has taken over the capital?” “Who shot Qasim?” “Was it really a robbery attempt?” Close acquaintance of Qasim: ProperGaanda’s reporter reached out to one of their close acquaintances of Qasim, and it was revealed, “Qasim was not shot during a robbery attempt, as far as we know.” At the same time, it was revealed that Qasim called the police himself after the single bullet hit him, and “his AirPods and phone were still with him after the incident. And his car keys were in his pockets.” Righter after the incident happened Qasim even called his colleague, around 8:57 PM June 5.
