Late on Friday night, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Facebook Messenger went down for close to 30 minutes. On opening Instagram, the app says, “We’re sorry, but something went wrong. Please try again”. WhatsApp is experiencing a similar issue, with messages being sent for some but calls not connecting or going through.
