“Is it acceptable for a guy and a girl to have such a relation in Pakistan?” Noor’s father cross-examined by Zahir’s lawyer

What happened: On January 17, Shaukat Mukadam recorded his statement before the cross-examination by Zahir Jaffer’s lawyer Sikander Zulqarnain started. Senior journalist, Saqib Bashir in his YouTube video and tweets, explained the questions that Sikander asked in the courtroom. In his YouTube video, Saqib said,  “Shaukat Mukadam was asked several irrelevant questions along with asking Noor’s father about the tenure of his ambassadorship.”  Details: Saqib Bashir, in his YouTube video, also said,  “Shaukat Mukadam was asked about his other children and their ages.”  According to Saqib Bashir’s tweet, another critical question that Sikander Zulqarnain asked was,  “Kabhi apnay Noor Kou Zahir kay ghr janney sey mana Kiya?”  Adding in his YouTube vide, Saqib said,  “In correspondence to the previous question, Zahir’s lawyer said ‘app ghusa na krynga’ to Shaukat Mukadam and asked, ‘Appkay khiyal mein aik lrka aur lrki kou aisay akhtay hounay chaiye?’”  On the other hand, a few reports claim that Sikander Zulqarnain later apologised for his question.  Reaction: Zubeda Bano(@zube.k) commented,  “How below the belt? The lawyer license should be cancelled and he should be charged with contempt of court.”  Saba(@saba_naz_arshad) wrote,  “Yaha case murder py chal rha ya aurat kay character py shame on them.”  Nazia Malik(@skinoriented) claimed,  “Shame on the lawyer and the whole system who are delaying the punishment. Its heartbreaking to see that victim’s family is being asking such stupid questions.”
