ایرانی قالین اور یمنی سوغات
عمران خان نے وزارت عظمی کا منصب سنبھالتے ہی سعودی عرب سے باہمی تعلقات بہتر کرنے کی تگ و دو شروع کر دی۔ خفیہ ذرائع سے ہمیں معلوم ہوا ہے کہ عمران خان کے دورا سعودی عرب کے دوران ان کا سامان کمرے میں جاتے دیکھا گیا مگر واپس نہ آیا، کافی دیر انتظار کے باوجود سامان نہ ملا۔ محل کے ملازمین کا کہنا تھا کہ شاید ہاتھا پائی میں سامان گم گیا۔ ٹرم نے اس واقعہ پر سعودی بیان کی تصدیق کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ان کا بیان قابل اعتماد ہے، ترقی صدر اردغان نے کہا سامان کی گمشدگی کی مکمل تحقیقات ہونی چاہیئے اور سامان گم کرنا اخلاقیات کے خلاف ہے۔ اس بیان کے بعد ترقی کے صدر نے اپنے ملک میں گمشدہ سامان کی تعداد پر ایک رپورٹ کو پھاڑ پھینکا۔
جب عمران خان کو کھانے کی میز پر مدعو کیا گیا تو ان کے سامنے یمنی سوغات پیش کی گئیں، اس موقع پر سعودی شاہ نے کہا “ہم تو کھا رہے ہیں، آپ کو بھی کھلائیں گے۔” خان صاحب نہ کیسے کہتے، مہمان تھے اس لیے مجبورا کھا لیا۔ ذائقہ کچھ ناگوار تھا مگر قوم کے لیے خان صاحب نے قربانی سمجھ کر برداشت کر لیا۔ اسد عمر کا کہنا تھا کہ یمن کا ذائقہ آئی ایم ایف سے بہتر تھا، مگر خلائی مخلوقات کی رائے میں یمنی ذائقہ دیرپا ہے اور زیادہ دیر تک قوم کی زبان پر رہے گا۔
کھانے کے بعد سعودی شاہ نے عمران خان کو نیا سامان دلوانے کا اور بھاری رقوم دینے کا وعدہ کیا، عمران خان کمرے میں بچھے ہوئے ایرانی قالین پر پاوں رکھ کر آگے بڑھ گئے۔
