Indian Marvel superhero, “Chakra the Invincible” has been launched as an NFT to honor Stan Lee on his 99th birthday

What happened: To commemorate Marvel’s creator, Stan Lee’s 99th birthday on December 28, Orange Comet (@orangecometnft), a leading entertainment NFT technology, released Stan’s Lee’s co-created Indian Marvel hero, “Chakra the Invincible” as a limited-edition NFT collection in an auction from December 27 to December 30. The minimum bid price for the 7-piece limited edition was set at $1000. Details: Stan Lee collaborated on an under-the-radar project with Graphic India’s co-founder and CEO, Sharad Devarajan in 2012 to create “Chakra the Invincible,” one of the first Marvel superheroes from India. Lee’s love for Indian culture and desire to bring an eastern concept to the world of western superheroes prompted the project, which Devarajan later remarked was “one of the biggest thrills of his life to be a part of as a life-long Marvel fan.” What else: Each auction winner will be receiving a ‘Chakra The Invincible’ lithograph hand-signed by Stan Lee several years ago, as well as a complete set of 25 comic books.
