What happened: A Tamil Nadu resident named Loganathan tried delivering his wife’s baby by watching a YouTube tutorial on “How to deliver babies.” As a result, the infant died and his wife was hospitalized. The infant was still unborn and the woman named Gomati fell unconscious during the delivery procedure as she suffered profuse bleeding during the birth. Details: Subsequently, Gomati was shifted to a public hospital, and a complaint was filed against Loganathan for carrying out a childbirth procedure and not taking medical help. Loganathan and Gomati were expecting the child on 13th December, but Gomati felt the labour pains late on the 18th, and the husband sought the help of his sister and YouTube videos to carry out the procedure. However, the police officials have started an inquiry into the incident.
