Indian man kills wife for making his rice too salty

What happened:   On April 18, different Indian publications reported that an Indian man resorted to violence over a petty issue. The incident was reported in India’s Maharashtra district, where a man killed his wife for adding too much salt to food. An Indian publication wrote,  “The accused identified as 60-year-old Nilesh Gagh strangled his 40-year-old wife after she added excessive salt to the kichrri.”  Details: Nilesh Gagh killed his 40-year-old wife in a fit of rage as she served him the over-salted food for breakfast, and police claim,  “The accused strangulated his wife using a long piece of cloth.”  However, the victim’s body was sent for post-mortem at a local hospital, and the police registered a murder case against the 60-year-old accused.  Previously: In 2019, another man in Pakistan cut off his wife’s nose for not making him tea in Pakistan’s Mian Channu village. Alongside his brother and cousin, the husband cut off his wife Parveen’s nose after she refused to make them tea.
