“I could not breath, when I reached the hospital”: Mohammad Rizwan

What happened:  Pakistan’s star wicket-keeper batsman, Mohammad Rizwan, during an interview aired by the Pakistan Cricket Board, said, “Upon arriving at the hospital, the nurse told me that if I had reached the hospital 20-minutes late, my veins would have busted.” It is pertinent to know that the star cricketer was diagnosed with a chest infection a few days before the semi-final at the T20 World Cup but played the semi-final for his nation. Details:  Mohammad Rizwan’s doctor, while speaking about Rizwan’s recovery, had said that his recovery was ‘miraculous.’ Whereas, speaking to PCB, he said, “My condition was not well, and the doctors were not telling me anything but were just doing my tests.” Rizwan also disclosed, “The doctor that was treating me had said that he wants me to play the semi-final for Pakistan.” The statement by his doctor gave him the boost, and “I had not played the match at that time but if something had happened to me after the match, I wouldn’t feel bad because it would be for Pakistan.”
