Through the new mobile application, any citizen will be able to report the violence against transgenders in Punjab. Details: The discrimination, violence and other complaints that the trans community of Punjab faces can be reported via the application. Previously: Another organization working for the trans community in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 2018 launched an android app Trans-Muhafiz for safety and reporting of violence against the transgender community. At the same time, Qamar Naseem stated, “ The app is first of its kind in Pakistan, unique and simple to use in case of emergency, which can be easily downloaded and installed from Google play store.” The app was made to improve the reporting system of violence against the transgender community.
