What happened: As of April 10, on the call of Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf, Imran Khan, a nationwide peaceful protest was called, and thousands of people were gathered to show support for Imran Khan. However, early on April 11, an Instagram user, Alia Naqvi, shared an incident with her at the PTI jalsa in the Lahore Liberty Chowk area. The incident: In an exclusive with ProperGaanda, Alia said, “So I lost my phone in the middle of the crowd, it fell and I thought I lost it forever.” As most Pakistanis would have thought, she would have never gotten her phone back, but things played out otherwise. Alia shared, “All my friends went searching for it; strangers in the middle of the jalsa began searching for it. Since I couldn’t find it, I gave up!” The sudden turnaround of events: Furthermore, the Instagram user shared, “Aik dou min baad, a woman came up to me and asked whether I had lost a phone or not, to which I said yes and a ray of hope emerged.” Though, according to Alia her phone was Infiinx and not Oppos as claimed by the lady, and Alia said, “She said my husband found a phone, you can see if it’s yours.” What then happened: Subsequently, Alia shared, “A second or two later, 4 men came, and said ap password batayen apne phone ka. I told them. They had found my phone and then they found me.” Alia Naqvi also revealed the message behind the people returning him her phone as she said, “I had tears in my eyes. And that is when an older man said ‘Ap pareyshan kiun hoti hein?’ Ye Imran ka jalsa hai, hum sab Imran ke banday hein, yahan koi chor nahi.” Lastly, Alia said, “the incident took place right at the center of the jalsa, and this incident made me realise that aise bhi insaan hain abhi issi duniya mein.”
