Hindu mobs blazed shops and houses of Muslims in Rajasthan

What happened: On April 5, the Hindu activists set houses and other belonging of the Muslims residing in the area on fire, and Anti-Muslim violence broke out in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The Hindu mob took out a bike rally in the area to celebrate the Hindu New Year in Karauli city and raised Anti-Muslims slogans. Details: The bike rally participants also threw stones on the Muslims and burnt their shops before hurling abuses at the Muslims. The News quotes the incident as,  “According to the police, as many as 35 people have been injured in the clashes. Mobile internet was also suspended in the area.”  Later, the Kauruli city police also imposed a curfew and suspended mobile and internet services. However, 46 people were later arrested by the police and several were detained as the police continued their interrogation.  More:   It is pertinent to mention that nearly 35 Muslim were injured by the Hindu mob. At the same time, nearly ten shops owned by Muslims were burnt and products inside the shops were set on fire.
