1.Prime Minister Imran Khan held a condolence conference for the Sri Lankan national

Details: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has granted K-request Electric’s for a tariff increase due to fuel adjustment expenses for the month. The increase was announced today by the regulator. The announcement came after the NEPRA heard a plea from the port city’s lone power distributor. What else: Except for lifeline customers, the pricing increase will apply to all consumer groups. According to the notification, the increase “must be displayed separately in the consumers’ bills on the basis of units billed to the customers in the corresponding month to which the adjustment pertains.” 3. Details: District Election Commissioner Hyderabad Muhammad Yousuf Majidano said at the seminar that the Election Commission of Pakistan is committed to providing detailed information to the public about the electoral process and encouraging them to vote properly so that they can participate in the elections. What happened: Five men were arrested on Monday at Faisalabad’s Bawa Chak Market on suspicion of assaulting, stripping, and filming four women. The incident: On Tuesday, Faisalabad City Police Officer (CPO) Dr Mohammad Abid Khan confirmed the arrests, saying that raids were being underway for more arrests and that the perpetrators would face severe punishment. A video of the four women went viral on social media, bringing attention to the situation. Following that, FIR was filed at Millat Town police station on behalf of one of the victims against four named suspects — Saddam, the owner of Usman Electric Store, and his employee, Faisal, Zaheer Anwar, and Faqeer Hussain, the owner of a sanitary products shop — and ten unidentified suspects. 5. The administration of South Punjab is planning to introduce a safari train to promote tourism in Bhawalpur
What happened: The south Punjab administration is intending to install a safari train from Bahawalpur to Lal Sohanra to provide entertainment to foreign tourists and visitors to the Lal Sohanra National Park, which is around 35 kilometres away. The initiative: The suggested idea is currently undergoing a feasibility analysis, according to South Punjab Additional Chief Secretary Saqib Zafar. He said he visited the proposed railway route and track up to the abandoned Baghdadul Jadid railway station near the city on the Sammsatta-Bahawalnagar railway line with Pakistan Railways Secretary Habib Gilani. A hand grenade attack by unknown motorcyclists injured two police officers in Quetta
What happened: A hand grenade attack at the Spiny Road, Quetta on late Monday night injured two police officers. Details: Unknown motorcyclists allegedly threw a grenade at a police vehicle patrolling Mubarak Chowk, according to officials. The explosive went off near the police car and exploded. The injured officers were identified as Mohammad Athar and Shahrukh Khan. They brought to a civil hospital by police and other law enforcement authorities who hurried to the scene of the incident. 7. 11 prisoners escaped from the Model Town Bakshi Khana with the help 21 inmates
What happened: Six of the eleven prisoners who escaped from the Model Town Bakhshi Khana have been re-arrested after a charge was filed against them. According to the FIR, 11 prisoners fled with the assistance of 21 other inmates. The escape: Ahmed Ali, Haider Ali, Faisal Masih, Pervez Din, Javed, and Muhammad Ahsan were among those captured, and police operations were still underway to apprehend the remaining suspects. At least 90 inmates from the Kot Lakhpat Jail and 76 from the Camp Jail were transported to the Bakhshi Khana on that day. In order to flee, the mob first tore down the wall of Bakhshi Khana’s restroom before pelting guards and policemen with stones and rocks.
