It has been announced that the iconic 90’s sit-com ‘Friends’ will be returning for a reunion with it’s entire original cast.
The show, which aired it’s tenth and final season in May 2004 is set to come back, according The Hollywood Reporter. HBO Max is going to be streaming all ten seasons as well as arranging for an unscripted reunion of the show 25 years after it has ended. Although not much has been announced about the reunion, it was confirmed that all the original main cast members are on board including the shows creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman. The Hollywood Reporter did confirm however that contracts have not been signed yet and the project is still ‘in works’ but talks of a reunion have been making rounds among fans of the iconic show for a while now. Recently, Jennifer Aniston joined Instagram and dedicating her first post to a reunion photo of the cast. Moreover, during her appearance on The Ellen Show, when she was asked about the possibility of a reunion she said something was ‘in the works’. Although the cast themselves have not officially announced anything, it is looking more and more likely that a reunion is in the works.
