What Happened: A group of four unidentified men, their faces covered with masks, attempted to force themselves into the office of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Stanhope Place in London on Thursday. They tried to enter the premises on the pretext that they had an appointment with Sharif, and upon being told by the staff that no such appointment had been scheduled, they resorted to aggression and coercion to secure entry into the office. After Sharif’s security personnel and party workers approached them, the men got into a car and left promptly.
The Response: Sharif’s brother and daughter were quick to condemn the actions of the unidentified men on Twitter.
