Former Australian batsman and coach of the Karachi Kings, Dean Jones, who was 59 years old, passed away in Mumbai after a heart attack. , according to Indian news media.

Dean Jones was a two-time winner of the PSL with Islamabad United in 2016 and 2018. The last position he held in the league was the head coach of Karachi Kings in PSL 2020.
Jones started his career in 1984 in which he played 52 Tests and 164 ODIs for Australia and ended in 1994. Icc inducted him in the Hall of Fame in 2019.
