A group of Foreign Diplomats accompanied Pakistan army officials to LoC border to investigate the ‘destroyed launchpads’ claim made by the Indian army on Tuesday The diplomats were taken to the Neelum Valley in Azad Jammu and Kashmir to allow them to verify the Indian army’s claims for themselves. They are visiting Nauseri, Shahkot, and Jura sectors as well as the Nausada Village, areas that have suffered a lot of damage during attacks by Indian troops. The ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor briefed the visitors about the situation in the area and also shown artillery shells fired by Indian troops from across the LoC.

Although the Indian Army was invited to accompany them, they were a no show. The Indian High Commission did not respond with confirmation or denial of the allegation made by the army chief. They also failed to provide coordinates of the alleged ‘launchpads’.
“Claims by Indian Army Chief remains just that: ‘claims’,” said FO spokesperson Dr. Mohammad Faisal.
