After being rescheduled due to heavy downpour in Karachi, the first ODI between Pakistan and Sri Lanka is finally taking place, becoming the first ODI match played in the city after a decade long gap. Pakistan chose to bat first upon winning the toss, and have scored 123-2 at the end of 25 overs.
Pakistan started with a strong lead of zero wickets at five overs, but lost two at Imam ul Haq and Fakhar Zaman’s expense. In a video uploaded to Twitter, one can see the opposing team was given the protocol and security that was promised.
