Filipino woman found “strangled to death” in her Clifton apartment

What happened: 32 year-old Filipino woman, Sheela, was found dead in her Upper Gizri apartment on Wednesday. The woman who lived in the same building, also a Filipino, reported the death to the police. Details: Sheela, the victim was living alone in her apartment for the past seven months and was also a cardiac patient. However, according to the post mortem report by the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) Sheela died from strangulation and also had bruises and broken shoulder bones. Sheela was married but had recently separated from her husband. An official of the consulate general of the Philippines has registered a murder case.
