Who is Fatima: Fatima Changezi belongs to the district Gilgit and has joined Pakistan Navy as a Sub-Lieutenant. She is the first woman to become a Naval Officer from her District. She recently received her rank after completing the 23rd Short-Service Commission. She was exemplary during her training, earning a gold-medal in sports. Growing up: Fatima says, growing up she felt like she was not like other girls in her village as she loved to read during her free-time and aimed for more than just a marriage. She had big ambitions and wanted to pursue them even though she knew there would be a lot of struggled for a girl like her. She was encouraged to continue her studies and follow her passions against all odds by her father, Rehmat Ali Changezi. She got a degree in Psychology and has now joined Pakistan Navy.
