Fans are upset after Marvel announces the death of Ms. Marvel in the upcoming comic

Marvel Studios has spilled beans on its plan to kill the character of Ms. Marvel in its upcoming comic book. The #26 comic book of Spider-Man is set to release on May, 31 which will feature Ms. Marvel and Spider Man saving the world, and the female protagonist will experience heroic death.

Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel was the first ever Muslim superhero of the Marvel universe. She was first seen in the Captain Marvel which was the #14 comic in 2013, followed by her solo series on Disney Plus in 2022. “The heart of the Marvel Universe has stopped beating” Marvel said in a release. “Join the other heroes of the Marrvel Universe, the creators of Ms. Marvel, and comic fans everywhere in honoring and remembering one of Marvel’s brightest stars.” However, fans have started expressing disappointment since the news came out. The character has resonated with the audience to another level since the starring actress Iman Vellani herself is a Pakistani-Muslim and has done justice to the role. People liked how breezy and distinct she was in the universe, so this news did come as a shock to many.

One fan commented, “the heroic sacrifice no one wanted except white superemacists.”
Another added, “I don’t know why they would do this so soon. I mean, it’s Marvel, No one stays dead.”
“Before I go, i think a rebrand is in order in Kamala’s honor. RIP Ms. Marvel, you did not deserve this at all…,” a third chimed in.
