What happened: A video went viral on social media, in which people can be seen abusing and physically beating a doctor.
Details: Reportedly, the video is of a doctor being beaten in the Children’s Hospital in Lahore. According to reports, an infant had died in the medicine ward after the infant’s health kept deteriorating and then the attendants of the deceased patients resorted to beating the duty doctor. The president of the Young Doctors Association at the Children’s Hospital announced that as a form of protest, all services will be suspended until all demands for the arrest of the accused are fulfilled.
