Elderly woman raped after being abducted from rickshaw in Karachi 

What happened: On April 24, a 40-year-old woman was allegedly raped before being abducted by two men from a rickshaw near Karachi’s Super Highway, considered to be a major leading entry and exit to the city. Karachi Police have registered a case against the unidentified suspects on the woman’s complaint, and the police claim that the elderly woman is a resident of Karachi’s Lasi Goth area and was abducted on her way home.  Details: Express Tribune quoted the development as,  “During the ride home, the rickshaw driver picked up another man, and both of them talked secretly to each other before the driver sped off the rickshaw to an unknown location.”  Later, the victim’s tortured body was sent to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical examination, and the police registered a case against two unknown men.
