“Drop scene” Imran Khan says the reference against Justice Qazi Isa was a mistake

What happened: The former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, has admitted that filing a presidential reference for the removal of SC’s Justice Qazi Faez Isa wa a mistake and claimed his fellow workers misguided him about Justice. According to Express Tribune’s report, Khan admitted to the mistake during the Insaf Lawyers Forum meeting, a meeting held to discuss the party’s legal strategy and activate its legal wing, as PTI workers are being arrested. Details: Subsequently, Express Tribune’s report claimed,  “Imran Khan did not want to pursue the reference against the Supreme Court judge, mainly because ex-attorney general of Pakistan Khalid Jawed Khan told him that the judge was honest and that Imran Khan was misguided about the case.”  On the other hand, Friday Times quotes the development as,  “A lawyer affiliated with the PTI was also quoted as saying the report that Imran Khan believed that a section of the superior judiciary was displeased with him due to the reference filed against Justice Isa.”
