Double Oscar-winning actor Sean Penn arrives in Ukraine to film a documentary on the Russian invasion

What happened:   The double Oscar-winning US actor and director Sean Penn is planning to make a documentary about Russia’s invasion as he arrived in Kyiv. Ukrainian President’s official Instagram handle posted the pictures of Sean Penn attending a government press conference. At the same time, Sean Penn also met Volodymyr Zelensky, as shown by the video posted on the official Instagram handle.  Details:   On the other hand, the Ukrainian President’s official Facebook statement read,  “The director came to Kyiv specifically to record all the events taking place in Ukraine and as a documentary filmmaker to tell the world the truth about Russia’s invasion of our country.”  Subsequently, the Ukrainian President thanked the US actor for showing support to the people of Ukraine and said,  “Our country is grateful to him for such a display of courage and honesty.”  More:   It is pertinent to mention that Sean Penn has been in the limelight since he met the infamous drug lord, El Chapo Guzman, with the Mexican-American actress Kate del Castillo and interviewed the Mexican drug lord.
