DG ISPR tells Sana Bucha “Its two to tango”

News Desk

DG ISPR Asif Ghafoor is nothing if not vocal on Twitter, and his recent statement on the Lahore-Sialkot motorway attracted a lot of comments, one which stood out more than others, by journalist Sana Bucha.

Here is the initial tweet

“Lahore-Sialkot motorway’s first section has been opened for normal traffic, DG ISPR”

People on Twitter retweeted their own versions of the statement in response.

Sana Bucha’s response

How did the situation escalate?

After Sana Bucha’s response on DG ISPR’s statement, he tweeted by stating one of Pakistan’s leading journalists had been paid by the ISPR, a statement he had also made on June 7th after Sana Bucha’s response on the army’s budget cuts.

Since then the DG ISPR has deleted his initial tweet “respecting journalistic ethos”.
