Musharraf to head an alliance of 23 political parties

3 suicide bombers killed in Rohri as Rangers foil ‘terror attack’
Digestible News 04: Three ‘suicide bombers’ were killed in Rohri by Sindh Rangers who were planning to target the Bab-e-Karbala Imambargah. The ‘suspicious men’ were signaled to stop by a Ranger at a checkpoint. An exchange of fire took place when the suspicious men tried to escape, in which three men were killed due to gunfire. Suicide jackets were found on the men, which were diffused with the help of the bomb disposal squad.
NAB orders strict compliance to freeze Pakistan finance minister’s assets
Digestible News 05: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Friday asked several provincial and federal departments to strictly comply with its order passed on November 2 to freeze Finance Minister Ishaq Dar’s assets including all domestic and foreign assets and properties, bank accounts and investments. The freezing of assets was ordered in compliance with article 12 of the National Accountability Ordinance of 1999.
New voter registration system implemented by NADRA
Digestible News 06 : Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice (Retd) Sardar Raza inaugurated a voter registration service that has started automatically registering for voting in the 2018 elections those who are applying for computerized national identity cards (CNIC). The developed software which will automatically geo-tag the address as per the applicants’ directions. This information will then be passed on to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
