Criticism makes no difference if there are people believing in the constitution. The courts’ doors are also open for critics as we have to provide justice to everyone

What happened: On April 21, Senator Raza Rabbani argued before the court,  “A malicious campaign launched against the institutions because they stood for the constitution.”  During the hearing of the case pertaining to the interpretation of Article 63-A, Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial said,  “The courts’ doors are also open for critics as we have to provide justice to everyone.”  Subsequently, the CJP added,  “History says People’s Party has always offered sacrifices, still they have also sided with the institutions.”  Details: On the other hand, Senator Raza Rabbani said,  “Article 63-A brings fear in members about casting a vote against the party’s policy, they knew the consequences if voted against the party.”  However, the PTI’s counsel Ali Zafar stated,  “Casting vote against the party is a violation of the constitution. What are the consequences of violation of the constitution, if it is a disqualification for life for every violation.”  Later, the hearing was adjourned.
