What happened : The film by Mano Animation Studios, “The Glassworker,” is now among th eight films that have been selected in the Work In Progress category at France’s Annecy International Animation Festival 2022. The film’s director is quoted by Dawn Images, “It is truly an honor to represent Pakistan at Annecy 2022. To have our first feature film, The Glassworker, on the same stage as so many incredible and inspiring animated films that have come before we are genuinely humbling.” Details: At the same time, the filmmakers claimed that this would be a fantastic opportunity for the Pakistani film industry, as this is the country’s first hand-drawn movie.
