COAS meets PM Shehbaz for the first time since he took charge 

What happened: On April 19, the Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, called on the Prime Minister, which was their first interaction since Shehbaz Sharif was elected to the office. Prime Minister’s Office released a statement,  “Professional matters pertaining to National Security were discussed during the meeting.”  Details: On the other hand, it is pertinent to mention that Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa did not attend the oath-taking ceremony as it was claimed that COAS was sick.
